SUNDAY MORNINGS

At ChristChurch we warmly welcome families and children to our Sunday services...
We have adapted our typical structure of Sunday services to abide by the current national regulations for church gatherings. Although we are unable to run creche or kid’s groups or sing together, we continue to hear the Bible read and taught, pray and worship in different ways, have kid’s talks, and enjoy seeing each other’s smiling faces!

Before COVID-19 restrictions, a typical Sunday morning at Fish Street for families and children would look the following way:

The children and young people spend the first part of the service with their parents/guardians in the main service. After about 20 minutes the children and young people leave for their own groups.

If you’re visiting us for the first time, one of the stewards will show you where the children’s/youth groups meet. You are very welcome to stay with younger children during the session to help them settle during the initial weeks, or to chat to one of the team to make them aware of any special needs your child may have.

For the under 3s, we run a supervised creche each week.

Additionally, we have a number of groups for those at Nursery & Infant, Junior and Secondary school. The children and young people enjoy a wide range of age-appropriate activities including crafts, games and Bible teaching. We aim to provide a fun, interactive and relaxed environment where all can enjoy exploring what the Bible says about God and knowing him personally in our lives today.

Our leaders and helpers have a current DBS check and Christchurch has a detailed child protection policy in place.
